BUFFALO, N.Y. — There could be some new faces in City Hall in the new year.
In the City of Buffalo, every seat on the Common Council is on the ballot. However, some of the races are uncontested.
One of the council’s key races on the ballot comes with even bigger shoes to fill, as Leah Halton-Pope and Michael Chapman square off to replace current council president Darius Pridgen, who announced he would not be seeking re-election.
Zeneta Everhart has been declared the winner for the Buffalo Common Council Masten District seat. She spoke to the community and voters accepting her new role Tuesday night.
