BUFFALO, NY – A $167 million renovation project for the venerable Peace Bridge is coming soon. The improvement project starts this summer with the widening of the Canadian side.
The Bridge Authority says it will help cars and trucks get into that country a little quicker. An observation platform will also be added so that people walking on the bridge can stand on the dividing line and actually be in both countries at once.
