JAMESTOWN, NY - Heavy rains packed quite a punch Thursday morning in the Southern Tier, leaving some areas flooded. As a result, areas of the Jamestown Police Department headquarters remain closed until further notice.
The reception area, command desk and front door areas remain closed to the public while flooding from the drenching is cleaned up.
People needing to reach the department for non-emergency matters can call the Command Desk at 483-7537 or 483-7522.

All emergency calls can still be made to 9-1-1.
