More than 200 Vietnam War-era veterans in Erie County honored at pinning ceremony

The ceremony honored more than 200 Vietnam War-era veterans in Erie County for their service and sacrifice, giving them the appreciation that they deserve.

HAMBURG, N.Y. — Local veterans who served their country were honored during a special ceremony on Thursday.

The ceremony honored more than 200 Vietnam War-era veterans in Erie County for their service and sacrifice, giving them the appreciation that they deserve. It includes people who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces at any time between Nov. 1, 1955, and May 15, 1975, regardless of where they were stationed.

U.S. Rep. Nick Langworthy also attended the event, which was held at Hilbert College's Swan Auditorium.
