NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — On Tuesday morning, the Niagara Falls Police responded to a one-vehicle crash at the Courtyard by Marriott.
According to police, a 61-year-old woman accidentally accelerated when operating her SUV and drove through a wall of the the hotel and into the swimming pool.
Hotel staff assisted the driver and a 3-year-old passenger out of the vehicle before the occupants were evaluated by first responders. They were uninjured and needed no further medical attention.
City Inspectors were able to assess the crash, stating there was significant damage to the building.
