Wings Over Batavia returns

Performances by the United States Air Force and others will take place over Labor Day weekend.

BATAVIA, N.Y. — The Wings Over Batavia air show is set to return on Labor Day Weekend at the Batavia Airport. The shows will run Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1 with gates opening at 2 p.m. and the show ending at 9 p.m. 

Audiences can enjoy performances by the United States Air Force F-16 Viper Demonstration Team and many aerobatic expert pilots. The F-16 team will celebrate 50-years of operation this year. 

This years show will feature performances by modern and historic military and civilian aircraft. There will also be warbirds and aeronautical features on display. 

On both nights, the show will feature a pyromusical, a 'high energy night show' with choreographed fireworks, pyrotechnics, drones, and aerobatic performances with a specific soundtrack.
