BUFFALO, N.Y. - Thursday marks a big cinematic day for movie goers in downtown Buffalo.
After 4 years of not having a movie theater in downtown, AMC Market Arcade 8 is scheduled to open, thanks to more than $9 million in investment from AMC and The Benchmark Group.
Here are the parking options offered to see a movie downtown, which will cost you $3.
- Augspurger Parking Ramp, located at 362 Pearl Street will be available after 12 p.m. Monday-Friday and all day on Saturday and Sunday
- M&T Bank Lot, located at Chippewa and Washington Streets will be available Monday- Friday from 4 p.m. - 3 a.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 3 a.m.
You may also use meter parking on the weekdays until 5 p.m. (and you can use the Buffalo Roam Parking app to pay for hourly parking). Weekends are free.
The new theater has heated, reclining seats, a new concession stand, and it's trying to get a liquor license as well.
