BUFFALO, N.Y. — UPDATE: Ice at Canalside and Eras Night has been canceled due to weather. 

This statement was released: 

Due to the state of emergency weather updates, The Ice at Canalside presented by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York will be closed today 1/13/24 for the safety of our staff and guests‼️

Eras Night will also be postponed to a later date.

Looking to shake off all the stress from the week? The Buffalo Waterfront has a perfect weekend event to do just that. 

On Saturday, January 13 they will be hosting an 'Eras Night' on the ice that skaters are bound to love(r). 

Skaters attending can enjoy 'Lavender Haze' drink specials, make friendship bracelets and more. Those who wear red lipstick will also get $1 off admission. 

Admission at the rink costs $8 for those 13-years-old & up, $5 for children & military and those 5-years-old or under are free. Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield members can also show their membership cards for $1 off skate admission, and $1 off rentals. 

Rental skates are available at the rink and cost $5 with sizes ranging from seven to adult 14. Skate walkers are available to rent for $3.
