BUFFALO, N.Y. — Western New Yorkers and people across the country on Monday will take time to remember the legacy of the late, great civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Ceremonies have been going on all weekend, and there will be observances around the area Monday, as well as businesses sending out employees for a day of service and free skating at Canalside.

Dr. King's memory was also a part of the Buffalo skyline on Sunday night. The Electric Tower will be lit yellow through Tuesday night in his honor.
