Wehrle Golf Dome opens its doors again after being closed for nearly 11 months

​The grand reopening was a time to welcome everyone back, after being closed for nearly 11 months.

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — It was nearly one year ago that the deadly blizzard of 2022 slammed Western New York for Christmas week.

That storm caused plenty of damage that in come cases in still being fixed up till date. One of those businesses that was partially destroyed is now back up and running.

The Dome on Wehrle Drive grand reopened on Thursday. This event is to welcome everyone back, after being closed for nearly 11  months.

While the dome has been back and running for the past few weeks, this grand reopening was a big thank you for the community's support.

The dome still has a lot of the same things it had before, like its simulators, so when you hit your golf ball, the monitor shows you where your shot goes, just like you are playing real golf. But there are also some upgrades, such as new finishes and flooring. The bar has also had a few upgrades.

Caleb Huck, the owner and manager of the dome, said the people there are excited about their grand reopening and excited to welcome everyone back.

"It's been a long time. We are excited about the way it came out. We are excited to welcome everybody back. I know everybody has been missing it over the winter and the summer, almost a year, and we are just excited to be back open for everyone," Huck said.

They had lots of drinks specials and free food at the event. They also had specials on their top golf balls and were giving away prizes.
