BUFFALO, N.Y. — A local charitable organization is calling on the community to volunteer this summer.
Friends of Night People is a Buffalo based charity that provides food, clothing, medical care, counseling and more for people in need around the Queen City.
In a recent Facebook post, the group hopes more students will be able to volunteer over the summer. Friends of Night People said volunteering is more than just a way to meet school requirements or improve their college applications. The organization said it can help improve social interactions, leadership and teamwork skills, and mental and physical health.
