Unapologetic Coffee expands wholesale business as it plans second site

The contract with Tops will start with its local stores, with the potential to expand to additional Western New York and Pennsylvania locations.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Two years after opening at 1375 Main St. in Buffalo, Unapologetic Coffee has added more food to the menu, while targeting more wholesale customers and a second location.

Founded by twin sisters Alicia and Alisa Officer, the business will purchase more roasting and packaging machinery with funds from a General Motors WNY Scale Up Small Business $15,000 grant. The business is also completing the certification process as a Women-Minority Owned Business Enterprise.

“It’s always been our goal to expand the brand and brand message of coffee and community,” they wrote in a Facebook post. “Time to roll up our sleeves and make some impactful changes.”
