TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. — If you live in the Town of Tonawanda, you'll be able to keep your car parked out on the street a little longer and you have Mother Nature to thank for it.
Supervisor Joseph Emminger says thanks to a favorable weather forecast, the town is pushing back its winter parking ban from November 1st to 12:01 A.M. on November 15th.
The parking ban prohibits parking on all streets in the town between the hours of 2-6 A.M.
Emminger adds, however, that in the event of a sizeable snowfall, residents should please use common sense and move your car from the street so the town snowplows can clear the snow.
