TONAWANDA, N.Y. — Mother Nature and the Town of Tonawanda are giving residents a little break before having to move their cars off town streets overnight.
Supervisor Joseph Emminger says the winter parking ban that was set to kick in on November 1, will now start at 12:01 a.m. November 15 instead. The decision is due to a favorable weather forecast for the next few weeks.
The ban prohibits parking on all town streets between the hours of 2 - 6 a.m. and will be in effect until April 1.
