NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. — North Tonawanda police report that a body was recovered Wednesday morning from the Erie Canal in North Tonawanda in the area of Sweeney Street.
The body of a man was recovered and it may be connected to a missing persons case.
At this time, officials say it does not appear to be suspicious.
