NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — The Child Advocacy Center of Niagara is looking for participants to take part in the New York State Children’s Alliance Virtual 5k.
The OneTooMany Virtual 5K is a fundraising event organized by the New York State Children’s Alliance. The event is aimed to support Child Advocacy Centers across New York and raise funds for abused children.
It takes place between September 13 to15.
The Child Advocacy Center of Niagara (CAC of Niagara) is part of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC). CAC of Niagara is looking for at least 100 participants before August 8.
“We are happy to partner with New York State Children’s Alliance in hosting the OneTooMany Virtual 5K, for the 5th year in a row,” said Shelley Hitzel, Executive Director of the Child Advocacy Center of Niagara. “This event is a wonderful opportunity for our community to unite and support the essential work we do in aiding children who have experienced abuse.”
The funds raised will go to CAC of Niagara’s goals to provide a comprehensive and cost-free response to children and their families.
Event participants can run, walk, bike, or hike their 5k anytime between September 13 and 15.
Registration is $40 for adults and $20 for children 10-years-old and under. Those who register before the August 8 deadline will receive a race bib, t-shirt, and information sheet on submitting times and winning social media prizes.
