DARIEN CENTER, N.Y. -Deputies in Genesee County say a teen was killed in a hit-and-run incident early Saturday morning after he left the Jason Aldean concert at Darien Lake.
Genesee County Sheriff's Deputies say 18-year-old, Connor Lynskey, was walking on the shoulder of Sumner Road near Harlow Road when a vehicle struck him. Lynskey was thrown into the air from the impact and landed in a ditch by the road near a corn field.
Sunday afternoon authorities arrested and charged 48-year-old, Jennifer Serrano of Irving, New York, with vehicular manslaughter in the second degree and leaving the scene of the personal injury accident, both class D felonies.
She was taken to Genesee County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond.
Lynskey's friends became aware he did not return to their campsite after the concert and alerted authorities.
Serrano's vehicle was seized during a search warrant executed early Sunday morning.
