MAYVILLE, N.Y. — Tamara M. Dickey has been appointed by the Chautauqua County Legislature to fill a vacancy in District 11.

Dickey fills the spot vacated by Dave Wilfong, who resigned last month.

Dickey has been involved in public service since she was elected to the Jamestown City Council in 2013.

“I am deeply honored to be appointed to the Chautauqua County Legislature,” Dickey said in a press release. “As a resident of Jamestown for over 20 years, I am excited to advocate for the taxpayers and families of District 11. I look forward to continuing my work in public service and being a strong voice for our community’s needs.”

“Tamara Dickey’s record of service and leadership speaks for itself. Her experience in finance, healthcare, and community advocacy will serve the residents of District 11 well. I am confident that she will bring energy, dedication, and a fresh perspective to the Legislature," said Legislature Chairman Pierre Chagnon.

In addition to serving the Chautauqua County Legislature, Dickey is also Senior Director in the Finance Department at Geisinger Health System.
