Taglianetti sentenced for killing Clymer schools superintendent

A Chautauqua County judge handed the maximum sentence of 25 to life to the man convicted of murdering a southern tier school superintendent.

MAYVILLE, NY-- A Chautauqua County judge handed the maximum sentence of 25 to life to the man convicted of murdering a southern tier school superintendent.

Anthony Taglianetti was found guilty back in November of 2013 of shooting and killing Clymer superintendent Keith Reed, Jr. in 2012.

The judge presiding over the sentence told Taglianetti that he hopes he [Taglianetti] never sees the light of day and spends his life in prison.

The court also heard impact statements including one from Reed's daughter. As Taglianetti was being led away from the courtroom, Reed's brother screamed at Taglianetti, calling him a coward.
