WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — Many people who drive through Williamsville may know who Trey Young is, and if you don't you probably have driven by him at some point as he's known as the 'Free Hugs Guy'.
Trey stands outside with a sign reading "Free Hugs" in Williamsville regularly. He brings smiles to the faces of many in the community through the small act of kindness, but Sweet Jenny's Ice Cream thought it was about time Trey was celebrated a little more.
In a post made by Sweet Jenny's, they wrote "We are a go! Come on out and help support Trey Young, the Free Hugs Guy on his mission to spread love, and raise some money for charity. The ice cream flavor, "Free Hugs Guy-Hearts and Hugs" is a chocolate and vanilla ice cream swirled together with chopped-up Hershey hug kisses. Let's do this!"
Ice cream sales from Trey's flavor will help benefit his church's youth ministry group, RPM.
