OLEAN, N.Y. — A scoreboard dedication takes place this weekend for a beloved Buffalo businessman and Saint Bonaventure University alumnus.
Joseph Murphy died unexpectedly of a heart condition in 2019.
Friends and fellow alumni at Saint Bonaventure University raised money to have the scoreboard at the Reilly Center swimming pool named in his honor.

Murphy was a standout swimmer at the school where he graduated in 2000.
A dedication ceremony for the new scoreboard is scheduled before the swim team's home meet against Niagara University on Saturday at 10 a.m.
This weekend is Alumni Appreciation Weekend at the school.
