Splash pads will stay open through the end of this week

Summer temperatures are fading into fall, but Buffalo's splash pads will remain open for the rest of the week for families looking to cool down.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Some days, it's starting to feel a little more like fall, but others, we've still got a bit of summer heat. Due to this, Mayor Byron Brown has announced that splash pad season has been extended. 

Buffalo's four splash pads, at Martin Luther King Jr. Park, Roosevelt Park, Cazenovia Park and Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Centennial Park, will remain open through Sunday, September 13.

All of these splash pads are open daily from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
