BUFFALO, NY - State and local officials celebrated the completion of the Tifft Street Pier and Boardwalk on Friday.
People gathered at the pier along Buffalo's Outer Harbor in the morning for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The $4.3 million dollar project provides a new fishing location with floating docks and a boardwalk area for public access along Lake Erie. A covered pavilion highlights the Pier, which is surrounded by new park space, seating and spaces for public art.
