BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Museum of Science is gearing up for the next solar eclipse that is happening on April 8, 2024.
Buffalo will be in the direct path of totality.
In preparation for next years eclipse, the museum is hosting an upcoming solar eclipse safety training for ages 12 and up.
The safety event is to make sure that by the time the extremely rare event comes around that people are aware of the damages that it can cause peoples eyes, and vision.
During the safety event from 1:00pm - 2:00pm people will learn how to prepare beforehand, and safe viewing methods to use.
There is no preregistration necessary, and seats will be available until capacity is met.
