Snow plow struck by tractor trailer on I-90

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. on the I-90 eastbound between exit 60 and exit 59.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The New York State Thruway Authority is warning drivers to be cautious around snow plows after one was hit by a tractor trailer on Tuesday.

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. on the I-90 eastbound between exit 60 and exit 59. It is unclear at this time if anyone was injured, but that stretch of road reopened around 4:30 p.m.

The Thruway Authority says snow plows travel slower than the speed limit, and drivers need to be extra cautious around them.
