BUFFALO, N.Y. — It's a new era for a radio station dedicated to Latino issues. Sin Fronteras WNY interviews local Latino voices, including Hispanic leaders, politicians and business owners. They also offer advice to hundreds of people with Hispanic heritage.

Caz Rodriguez and Lorenzo Rodriguez are the weekly hosts who are passionate about this type of work.

"I'm from South Florida. There's always been a presence in the media down there. There is Univision. There is Telemundo. There is a number of stations, but when I got here I realized there wasn't, there is a local affiliates and that's great. But that specific attention to our culture, to our stories and to our way of life that wasn't there," Lorenzo Rodriguez said.

Spanish is a language familiar to an estimated 64 million Hispanic Americans, including tens of thousands here in Western New York. They offer more than just music. They also have things like news and wellness advice.

"Which of these labels has less sugar, higher protein, higher fiber and that to me is like winning," Marcia Torre Guerra, a guest on Sin Fronteras WNY said.

You'll hear directly from local Latino voices, Hispanic leaders and issues that are most important to their Spanish-speakers. It's a dedication to Latino voices in Western New York. That hasn't been showcased enough.
