CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — Cheektowaga Police are investigating a shooting outside of Macy's at the Walden Galleria
It happened shortly before 3 p.m. on Sunday.
It doesn't appear that anyone was shot, according to Cheektowaga Police.
"We had an incident involving at least two different groups. We can confirm that shorts were fired. We believe no one was struck today," Cheektowaga Police Sgt. Shawn McAdams said.
McAdams said at least eights shots were fired. The mall remains open while police investigate.
"We're sectioning off part of the parking lot here that we believe that we have some physical evidence, other than that, we're allowing the shoppers here to enter their cars and leave the parking lot here." McAdams said.
