TONAWANDA, N.Y. — Town of Tonawanda police say rumors of a shooting at Hoover Middle School on Monday are, "unfounded."
Police say they have completed an investigation into the matter and want to warn parents that there is no reason to keep their children at home from school.
Lt. Thomas Haynes also says there will be an increased patrol presence in the area on Monday out of caution.
