CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. - Back in March, we told you the story about Timothy Richardson, a 16-year-old firefighter-in-training, facing the battle of his life asking for different fire department t-shirt's to wear while he is in the hospital.
The response he received was overwhelming. He received several bins of packages from fire departments around the world.
4,000 fire department t-shirts were shipped to Timothy.
We gave you an update on Timothy last month, and told you about a bone marrow drive and a benefit planned by the Hy-View and U-Crest Fire Departments.
Saturday, Timothy got a bedroom make-over!
Special Spaces Buffalo, is a non-profit dedicated to creating dream bedrooms for kids suffering from life-threatening illnesses, and they decided to give Timothy his bedroom make-over.
The design will highlight his love for fire fighting, as well as accommodate some of his 4,000 t-shirts.
