BUFFALO, N.Y. - WBEN Radio producer and news reporter Tom Connolly passed away over the weekend following a battle with kidney cancer. Connolly was a friend and mentor to many in local broadcasting.
Tom worked overnights at WBEN for 30 years. During that time, he also mentored countless broadcasting students at SUNY Buffalo State's radio station, WBNY.
WBEN and its sister stations, Kiss 98.5, WGR, and Star 102.5 are all dedicating Tuesday morning's programming to Tom's memory.
