BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Red Cross is assisting three people after a fire tore through a Buffalo home on Wednesday evening.
The Buffalo Fire Department was called around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday to 128 Poultney Avenue, between East Amherst Street and Kensington Avenue. That's where officials said a fire started on the second floor of the occupied building.
Three people have been displaced because of the fire, which caused an estimated $60,000 in damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
