BUFFALO, NY - The Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation Wednesday announced a $6 million "challenge grant" for Explore and More Children's Museum.
Half of the gift will be used towards ongoing construction of the museum itself, while the other half will be used for future sustainability of Explore and More - which will be renamed "Explore and More - The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children's Museum."
"We are thrilled to introduced the renamed Explore and More - The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children's Museum and couldn't be more honored to be part of such a critical initiative that will positively impact children and families of Western New York," said David Egner, President and CEO at the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation in a released statement.
The soft opening is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2018, and will feature seven educational play zones with hands-on activities and exhibits.
