NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. — The Niagara SPCA is making their animals in the shelter's Christmas Eve extra special this year, but needs the community's help.
In a post made to their Facebook page they wrote, "On Christmas Eve, Santa's Elves will sneak into the Shelter after hours and deliver a decorated pup cup (or cat cup) to all the good little homeless dogs and cats."
That is where the community comes in to help. The SPCA is asking those who would like to donate $5 or more to go towards the special treats they will be handing out.
People can choose an animal listed on their website to donate their treat to specifically. Once chosen, those donating can send their donation via Paypal, Venmo, or on the SPCA's website.
Venmo's can be spent to @Niagara-SPCA.
In the description of the donation write which animal you would like to treat, and if they have already been treated the donation will go towards another one of their friends in the shelter.
The SPCA will share footage from their Christmas Eve treats to their page after.
