BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Police say a 27-year-old Buffalo man was killed in a car crash early Wednesday morning on the city's East Side.
According to police, the crash happened around 2:30 a.m. in the area of Jefferson Avenue and Matthews Street. Investigators believe a vehicle was driving at a high rate of speed when it left the roadway and drove into a house.
The driver, Khiry Wiley, was taken to ECMC where he was later declared dead.
Police say the crash is under investigation.
