CLARENCE, N.Y. — It's a sign of progress in Clarence.
The town board approved the plan to turn the Eastern Hills Mall into a so-called 'lifestyle center." The town center of sorts would be anchored by restaurants, high-end retails and housing.
In March, it was announced that Amherst-based Uniland Development Company would join forces with Mountain Development Corporation to purchase and redevelop the Clarence mall's 80-acre site into a “town center” destination.
Uniland officials say construction is still a ways away.
