GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. - A popular amusement park in Western New York is facing backlash from some customers this season, after a petition surfaced claiming season passes aren't living up to their expectations.
The petition on Change.org is asking Fantasy Island, located on Grand Island, to issue 2018 season pass holders a complimentary 2019 season pass in response to the poor park performance this season.
The petition claims a number of comments and concerns including the wave pool in the water park being closed all summer, rides being closed or only partially opened, and the "young staff uneducated on park rules and safety."
