Pedestrian struck by SUV on Elmwood Avenue

A 60-year-old woman was crossing Elmwood Avenue at Auburn around 4:40 p.m. Thursday when she was struck by a white SUV.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A pedestrian was injured Thursday after being struck by an SUV on Elmwood Avenue.

A 60-year-old woman was crossing Elmwood Avenue at Auburn around 4:40 p.m. Thursday when she was struck by a white SUV that was traveling south.

The woman suffered injuries to her left arm, both knees, and had road rash, a spokesperson for the Buffalo Police Department told 2 On Your Side. She was taken to Erie County Medical Center to be treated.

The Buffalo Police Accident Investigation Unit investigated the incident.
