LOCKPORT, N.Y. — A pedestrian who was struck by a car in Lockport has died, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday night.
Deputies say Glenn Butler, 37, of Lockport, was attempting to cross South Transit Road near the Valu Home Center around 8:30 p.m. Monday when he was hit by a car and thrown into the median. Butler was taken to Eastern Niagara Hospital.
The Niagara County Sheriff's Office said he died Wednesday at Erie County Medical Center.
The driver of the vehicle wasn't injured.
Deputies are still investigating the incident, and no charges have been filed at this time.
