ORCHARD PARK, NY - A guilty plea was lodged Friday night involving an Orchard Park man who gave a date rape drug to an intern who was working for him at a gym in Williamsville.
Donald Alessi, Jr., 44, pleaded guilty to second-degree assault. He faces jail time, or a combination of probation and a fine.
He gave the intern GHB while both worked at Alessi Fitness for Kids on Transit Road in April of 2012.
Donald Alessi is the brother of Doctor Derek Alessi, who has contributed content to WGRZ 2 On Your Side. Derek told us he ended his business and personal relationship with his brother shortly after the incident happened.
