ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Why did the chicken cross the road? Well a chicken and rooster in Orchard Park didn't have to find out because a local police officer made sure they were safe.
In a social media post on Monday the OP Police Department wrote "Officer Mackey wrangled a tan hen and gray rooster this morning at the High School, Baker Road side. The video of her chasing them is too long to post, but here’s a picture!!"
The department also mentioned that whoever these chickens may belong to can call (716)-209-6300, until then they are in good care with a foster.
