OLCOTT, N.Y. — Olcott Beach reopened on Thursday after recently closing down due to water quality issues.
Sampling was conducted on Wednesday by the Niagara County Department of Health.
Once testing was completed, it was determined that the water was safe for swimming.
Water quality will continue to be monitored and any additional problems with the water that occur will be communicated to the public, according to the Department of Health.
