ALBION, N.Y.-- A New York State corrections officer has been arrested for having an inappropriate relationship with an inmate.
The Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested Daijon Talford, 33, for official misconduct. The arrest comes after investigation into a personal relationship Talford had with an inmate, while working as a Correction Officer at Albion Correctional Facility.
New York State Police did not release details about the relationship between Talford and the inmate, but stated that it was "unlawful personal relationship."
Talford is set to appear in the Town of Albion Court on December 5, 2017.
