North Tonawanda Easter Market attracts shoppers from across Western New York

Thousands of people came out to the event, which provided people with a chance to shop. More than 70 vendors offered candy, decorations, and apparel.

NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. — The second annual North Tonawanda Easter Market and Vendor Show drew a large crowd this weekend.

More than five thousand people came out to the event, which provided people with a chance to shop. 70 vendors offered candy, decorations, and apparel.

"Most of the vendors don't have a brick and mortar, they depend on these types of shows, so it gives them a really great outlet so that in the off time they're making their products, and then they come in here and stock it up, and we take care of selling it for them," Jacob Wankasky, owner of the Greenhouse Events Center, told 2 On Your Side.

The seasonal fun continues with the North Tonawanda Garden Show at the events center, from April 11-13.
