Sanborn nonprofit delivers fuzzy friends to kids celebrating Halloween in the Hospital

Olivia's Bears a Sanborn nonprofit, delivered Halloween themed bears to children spending Halloween in the hospital.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — It's Halloween and a local nonprofit is bringing some joy to those who may be spending the holiday in the hospital.

Olivia's Bears a Sanborn based group, delivered some fuzzy friends to Oishei Children's Hospital during the week leading up to Halloween.

In a post made to their social media pages on Wednesday, Olivia's Bears wrote:

"Spending the holidays in the hospital can be incredibly challenging for children, who are often far from the comfort of home, family traditions, and the warmth of their usual celebrations. The festive season, which is typically filled with joy and togetherness, can instead feel isolating and lonely for young patients. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to bring a bit of that holiday magic to them through special deliveries.

Every gift and visit is a reminder that they are not alone, and it’s a privilege for us to bring some light and happiness to their days. These moments of joy, however small, mean so much in the hospital setting, and we’re thankful to be part of making this week feel brighter and more connected for them.

Thank you Oishei Children's Hospital for sharing these amazing photos!"
