BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Niagara SPCA spent the evening celebrating the carnival season with a Mardipaws-style fundraiser at the Wurlitzer Events Center.
There was a New Orleans-style buffet, live entertainment, and a silent auction.
It was all to raise money for the adoptable dogs that were also there looking for new homes.
"These guys usually come from bad situations and they really deserve a good home but outside of that adoption is just these animals when you bring them home they just give you such a sense of love that you just don't feel in a different type of environment," said NSPCA Director of Event and Marketing.
This was the Niagara SPCA's first major fundraiser for 2024.
