NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — The Niagara Falls City Republican Committee recommends Joel Giambra for the official endorsement of the Niagara County Committee when they meet on May 30.
Giambra, a Republican, served as Erie County Executive for years. He ran for governor earlier this year against Governor Cuomo until recently, when he dropped out of the race.
Chairman Bill Carroll said Giambra would be a strong addition to the GOP ticket and bring a "much-needed" WNY presence.
