NIAGARA FALLS, NY - Niagara Falls Police have charged a woman with DWI after a deadly motorcycle accident.
Niagara Falls Police say the accident occurred at approximately 11:55 p.m. Thursday night on the Niagara Falls Blvd and 66th St. The woman was traveling eastbound on the boulevard and attempting to turn left into the parking lot of Honey's when she crashed into the motorcycle, which was traveling westbound.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 30's, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman driving the van was not hurt, but was transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital after being arrested. Officers say speed may have been a factor in the crash.
Neither of their names have been released.
