WHEATFIELD, New York — The Niagara County Sheriff's Department responded to an armed robbery on Niagara Falls Boulevard on Sunday night.
At 10:12 p.m. Niagara County dispatchers had received a call that a Dollar General located at 2300 Niagara Falls Boulevard had been robbed, and the suspect had a knife.
The knife was shown to workers and the suspect left with an unknown amount of cash.
Police have not yet located the suspect, and the incident is currently under investigation.
Workers described the suspect as a tall Black male that was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black mask, gloves, and had fled the store on foot.
