This can be a tough time of year for families in need. Hoping to help out, a statewide drive is now underway to collect unwrapped toys, coats and schools supplies to assist community-based organizations during the holidays.
The Office of General Services has set up drop-off locations across the state for businesses and individuals to bring donations which will then be distributed to families in under-served communities throughout New York state.
Locally, the Mahoney State Office building at 65 Court St. in downtown Buffalo will be collecting donations through December 13.
