New chairs at Buffalo Outer Harbor featured in public art display

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalonians are getting their first look at a new public art piece on the water.

Sunday marked the debut of 'Start All Over Again.' The new sculpture at the outer harbor features five brightly colored chairs.

Artists Kevin Kegler and Angelo Palmari tell 2 On Your Side, that the new public art is meant to promote unity while encouraging visitors to sit and talk to one another. They say "It's where it is, people are walking by from 50 feet, and saying they look like chairs, bright chairs, but when they get closer, they realize something's different, in that woah, what is this? And it pulls you in, it draws you in."

Palmari and Keglar say they submitted the proposal for the project after calls from the outer harbor for more interactive public art.
